"Violent Visions"
"Violent Visions" was the first watercolor depiction that Sophia painted on canvas. The piece is very important to her due to orchids being her favorite flower. The orchids are depicted on a 18' by 24' canvas and with purchase is partnered with the handwritten version of the poem.
“Violent Visions”
Not to bloom.
To explode.
Purple fury unfurls from the void
petals once seen as soft are sharp as shattered glass,
Each bloom is a bruise of royalty,
Each bloom is a scream frozen mid-air.
Blossoms that refuse to whisper.
This is beauty with teeth.
Delicate yet violent, beautiful yet raged.
A vision so vivid it wounds the eye that dares to linger.
but savage elegance born from storm and silence.
They do not ask to be admired.
They demand to be witnessed.
