"Ascension"

"Ascension" is a depiction of a Koi Fish using watercolor. Sophia Lamont created it with the intent to depict transformation into a higher self. Completed on March 7th, 2026 on 9' by 12' paper. Purchase of the original painting includes the obtainment of a hand written copy of the partnering poem.

Not to swim.

Yet to rise.

Forged inside the void of fire and ice, her body burns with living flame.

Her spirits reach upward like silver lightning, tasting the surface where light dares to touch darkness.

She is a transformation itself.

 She is the quiet fury of persistence.

She is the graceful power that turns struggle into legend.

In the silent depths, she defies gravity.

One defies limits.

One ascends.
